Which one do you think harder, remembering or forgetting?
For me, definitely forgetting is much harder. Even sometimes try to forget can give us some pain. I dont know, maybe there's a mechanism in our brain which makes that happen.
What kind of thing that difficult enough for you to remember? Courses? Equations? People?
I always have a weird difficulties to remember people's face and name. I don't know. For me, it's kind of hard to remember people's face and their name instantaneously. I have gotten a problem because of that. But of course, if I meet them more than one time and then interact with them, at least have a little conversation, I can remember them. And when I remember something, I can remember that for a very long time.
But to forget, oh God, it's much much harder.
We always can say to our head, "Come on just forget, that's easy right!" Yeah we know exactly that's not easy. We can meet someone in a lunch for example and have a conversation with him/her for like 2 or 3 hours. That's it, just 2 or 3 hours and maybe they just left, but can you make them get out from you head? Nooo, you will always remember, right? Every detail, every memory, that's for some cases, can haunt you.
You just can say to yourself, okay everything who has been gone, probably will never be able to comeback. If you have to lose something, you have to tell yourself that even if it's to hard to forget, you can always let it go. That's it. let it go. We can't force to erase memory from our head, but we can always let them go. Every fail in your life, everything that you can't have, everything that you can't get, every sad moment, every lose, everything that you try to rid from your head. For me, sometimes, it's easier to move on with talk loudly to myself, I let it go.
So which one do you think harder?
